The Doctor called with the results...

Boys and girls, you might as well hang me out to dry with your load of whites.
I'm damp. Really damp. Slippery too!
Why is Roundtooth sounding so silly???
Well, yesterday I experienced the wonderful world of acupuncture.
After being recommending by a friend, I found myself in the care of
this sweet and gentle woman. We'll call her acupuncturist (makes sense). She was so calm and caring that I felt like a baby again being cuddled in a blanket while sang to in a rocking chair.
Ha! Ha! Right?
But it's oh so true.
Anywho! Acupuncturist asked a whole bundle of questions, "read" my tongue, and listened to my pulse(s). After that she came to the conclusion that I am extremely damp (inside my body), have a slippery pulse (which is apparently a great thing if your PREGNANT- no I'm not), and have insomnia thanks to my extremely vivid dreams, even though I fall asleep like a baby.
The good news is, the "dampness" will exit my body as I continue to build a relationship with that beast of a machine, the elliptical machine that is. And do other physical activity which some of you might know as, exercise. She has also highly suggested that I stay away from cold fruits (even jamba juice), cold veges, and dairy. We'll see how that goes.
So your probably wondering about the actual acupuncture. As someone who was once a full-fledged hypochondriac (in the 5th grade I thought I had prostate cancer until my mom informed that I did not have a PROSTATE) and was terrified of "needles" I can say that this act of Asian medicine is not to be feared. It was such a relaxing experience for me that I am still feeling the benefits the next day.
And! I moved my chi!
Huh?
As I was lying there with the "needles" in my body, I felt my left shoulder and heart raise up.
Then it felt strongly like my entire body was floating for a good 3 or 4 minutes.
No, I'm not going crazy people.
Acupuncturist was so happy with this report. She said the chi (energy) was spreading through my body.
I am now chi'full people.
I will return to acupuncturist in another week for some more cradling and lullabies.

Namaste,
Roundtooth
