Let us take a moment to give thanks

After an exciting weekend knitting with the girls and experiencing the wonderful world of acupuncture, it dawned on me that I totally forgot to do a "worship" blog on Sunday.
Therefore I'd like to take this time and bow down and give thanks to my new and absolutely GORG (Roundtooth speak for gorgeous) sandals!
WTF? Did she say sandals? As in shoes?
Yes, dear. And I do pray. Every single day but that doesn't mean I'm going to go and cut the head off some chicken.....Gawd love Steel Magnolias!
Oh, I'm starting to sidetrack.
Back to the prayer at hand, please meet the latest addition to my shoe collection.
They are by Jeffrey Campbell.
And now let us give thanks for the incredible job these snakeskin cuties do in dressing up a pair of jeans.

Thank you dear Lord,
Roundtooth

P.S.
Just a quick note: For every pair of shoes Roundtooth buys, she then donates or gives away a pair she already owns. And no, they aren't given away because they are tattered and worn. Sometimes they are brand spanking new. Sometimes they are gently worn. And sometimes they were "in" yesterday and "out" tomorrow.
Nevertheless, we should all remember, even though Roundtooth just thanked (her) God for shoes, that the material things we often crave are the same things that others  are in need of.
So when you find yourself with more than your fair share of clothes, shoes, food, money, etc. please think of those who are less fortunate.
FYI: The Dinosaur Farm in South Pasadena is taking closed-toe shoe donations this week.
Roundtooth has donated her fair share. How about you?
